Tarragon
by Farawayeyes

tarragon give me tarragon
rub against my skin the leaves
turn your face to me
and hold between your lips sweet lemon grass
and kiss me
lay at my side here on this bed of mint
with wild flowers in your hair
we shall share well-flavoured wine
before the honour is bestowed upon me
and may we be blessed
and name the child Rosemarie
